New Types Of Digital Media Art.
With ever increasing technology, we are seeing new emergences almost daily in the production of digital media art. As new techniques arise we see more and more beauty in the world of art. As an artist it is important to know about new trends and designs in order to equip yourself with the tools that are necessary to produce fine art.
One of the areas that are continually increasing in the world of art is logarithmic art. Logarithmic art uses mathematic algorithms to produce visual art designs. Considering the complexity of math and algorithms this has not only become one of the most advancing art pieces but also one that has shown the most promise for future pioneers. As artists develop newer and more complex algorithms, we will continually see this form of art advance.
Digital installation art is also another relatively new form of digital media art that uses projections to form 3D and interactive art. University of Chicago was one of the first to begin displaying this type of art fooling onlookers that an actual statue of a caveman was not present at the exhibit. This type of art continues to mesmerize all the onlookers and will continually grow as demand and technology allows it to advance.
Photographic art is another form of art that has been invaded by the digital media artists. We early on saw this type of computer generated art emerge with desktop publishing programs entering the technology scene. Computers can now alter, color, shapes, views, and other aspects of pictures to capture the true feeling of the artist within a real life scene. Recently we have seen a new trend in this type of digital art as it has moved from the traditional 2D images to now incorporating 3D images into the amazing photos.
